Step 1

Yarn over the hook, then insert the hook under the V of the 4th chain stitch from the hook. Yarn over again and catch the yarn, drawing it through the V.

Step 2

You now have three loops on the hook. Yarn over and draw the yarn through the first two loops.

Step 3

You now have two loops remaining on the hook. Yarn over and draw the hook through the two loops.

Step 4

One double crochet stitch is complete. Continue to repeat steps 1 through 3 until you reach the end of the row. To begin the next row, make three chain stitches and turn.
