Has anyone made this yet?

I'm currently working on this and am slightly confused.
First I couldn't figure out why rows looked like they were different heights when all rows are worked in DC. I sent the magazine an e-mail but didn't get a response. So I decided to start the sweater. After working several rows, mine kind of have the appearance of different heights simply because of right sides and wrong sides, if that makes any sense, so I continued.
There is a written error on pg 60 & 62.....
(Back) Shape First Shoulder and Neck. Row 1, everything is correct until ...tr in next 3 tr, should read tr in next 3 dc. Same mistake for Left Front Shaping Shoulder. Row 1 is correct until....tr in next 3 tr, should read tr in next 3 dc.
I'm ready to start the Right Front. I'm now supposed to work in the back loop only, starting in row 2! (The entire back wasn't worked in the back loop only.) Shape Neck & Shape Armhole does not say anything about working in the back loop only. Now I'm really getting curious and confused. I decided to really read on. Left Front is written the same way. The sleeves don't say anything about working in the back loop only either. This seems kind of strange to me that the back and sleeves aren't worked in the back loop only and only part of the fronts are worked in the back loop only. How will this change the look of the stitch pattern? Will the stripes line up at the side seams?
I hope some one has answers for me. I'm not sure how to proceed. Kind of frustrating.

Buttons

I am completely in love with the Stripey Spring Cardi and ordered the exact yarn and colors used in it. But does anyone know where I can find or who makes the buttons? They're perfect!
