Getting this issue

If I subscribe to the Magazine today will I get this issue or will I have to buy it in the store?

unlikely

It's unlikely that if you send in a subscription now that you will receive the nov/dec issue, given the time for processing, etc. But there's no guarantee, and we have no way of knowing how quickly it will happen.

trouble making tree skirt

I am new to crocheting and am attempting to make the tree skirt. I am to row 4 and the picture shows 5 double crochets in the second set and the wording says 4 double crochets. can anyone clarify? Thank you in advance

both are correct

It's just the way the written directions are worded. In the written direx, it says to work 4 and then work (dc, ch 2, dc). So there's the 5th dc before the ch.

@Anne Stoddard email me and you can borrow my copy since I'm using a different one at the moment it would only cost the shipping between us. Here's my email crawdaddydoo92@yahoo.com

Tree Skirt Pattern

I have searched ALL of the stores (not only book stores, but supermarkets also) in my town and also the surrounding 30 miles to no avail. When I looked at your site to buy it, it was prohibitive, no kidding, how can you charge over $10.00 for one magazine..... I ended up subscribing to the magazine (hopefully the future patterns will be worth it) but now I am wondering if I will get the
November/December 2009 issue? How can I be sure to get this issue without paying an additional $10 to $12.00???

Pattern link

While I do agree that you're a paper magazine and not and online one the link at the top to get to this area is labeled "Pattern." That being the case you should have the "Pattern" in here. If you want to list photos and supplies have a different link for that. Or just change the link from pattern to something else. Again I understand you're a paper magazine, which I subscribe to, but I can also see this from the other side as well. Even if we needed to pay say $1 or so for a pattern I think most would. Regardless things in the "pattern" area really should have the patterns.

tree skirt

It is a shame that some of these patterns are not offered for free. I do love the tree skirt too & the instructions are only one page. Back to the store to buy the magazine tonight.
