crochet today v/s crochet magazine
Submitted by ladybug2009 on Sun, 2010-01-10 21:43.if i will subscribe now, what issue will it start? another concern.... is crochet today magazine the same as the crochet magazine being offered by annie's attic OR will it replace crochet today?
Crochet Today is NOT Crochet Magazine
Submitted by erin on Wed, 2010-05-12 12:42.These are two separate publications. If you order now, you may get the May/June issue to start, but depending on processing time, you may get the Jul/Aug issue as your first one.

floaty scarf
Submitted by ladybug2009 on Tue, 2009-12-01 15:36.i just finished this project.........i followed the number of rows and stitches. the end product is a lot smaller than the one in the magazine. it is not as drapey and floaty and seems a lot shorter. how is that? same thread same hook # and i even got the same color as the model is wearing.

Check Gauge
Submitted by J-Thorn on Tue, 2009-12-01 19:43.Did you check your gauge when you started? If your number of stitches comes up short on size, it may just be that you crochet a bit tighter than most, resulting in smaller stitches and thus a smaller finished project. It would also explain the lessening of drape - tighter stitches equal a stiffer final product. You may just need to use a larger hook or try to loosen your stitching when making this project.
